Today I saw on del.icio.us/popular a link to this site. The title of the page, I think, is what’s really wrong with Python: not the whitespace, not the inconsistencies in object-orientatedness (orientosity?), not the “there’s only one way to do it” (TOOWDI) attitude. It’s that despite the wealth of quotes one can pull from the Monty Python series and movies, Pythonistas fall back on “And now for something completely different” and “spam.” How can you have fun with a language whose adherents have so little imagination?
