Simpler calendrical machinations

A while ago, I described my system of using FTP to publish and subscribe to iCal calendars. It was a way to keep the calendars on my two computers in sync without excessive payments for a .Mac account. Today I saw this, which is much better. It leverages the free 1G space you can get on www.box.net and allows you to do your publishing and subscribing via WebDAV, as God intended—no extra scripts, no cron jobs (not that there’s anything wrong with cron jobs), no need to quit iCal before publishing. Very smooth.
I’m still keeping my FTP script, just disabling the cron job, because box.net may not last.
