July had, by far, the fewest US military deaths of this long and pointless war. Great news, regardless of who’s trying to grab credit for it here in the States.
I read somewhere that troop levels are down to their pre-surge values, but I haven’t found a good source for deployment numbers. If you know of one, I’d appreciate an email with the link.
