Iraq again

I have the feeling that before tomorrow’s over, the number of US military deaths in Iraq will have hit 2800. It’s been a horrible month and there’s still a week of it left.

As I started writing this post I was nagged by the thought that I had just written about the death toll reaching 2700. I had, just 29 days ago.
