Brilliance

For years, I’ve used a Mark-10 MG10 force gauge for mechanical testing of small devices at work. I often find myself going to the hardware store to buy little sleeves and nuts and screws to adapt it to the equipment I’m testing.

In the past—including yesterday—I’d take the gauge with me to the store and try various sizes of hardware out on the threaded end, looking for the size that fit. Today, I wrote the thread size on the gauge itself.

This is the sort of high level thinking that takes years of schooling to achieve.
